Written and dedicated to Ceci, hand in hand on a journey with sun and smile from the inside! To those moments when we randomly moved to another country, or we randomly ended up in South Korea in a phone call time, or you convinced me in a split second to double the recording time for this piece (Tom…you and your runs!), THIS is the music I hear inside!

This is one of my “little crazy tests”: I like to try new things with real players on a non-commissioned/commercial pressure. Break it (my wallet) or make it :) Why on earth in 2023 someone would like to record a challenging fast and complex full orchestra piece at first sight reading? This is how I like to learn, and I really wanted to try this daring thing for a long time. Always learning, and it’s a beautiful process. Every time the orchestra starts, it reminds me why I’m doing it!

Also, this piece would not exist without Tom Schipper. I met Tom by mistake on an Instagram feed and connected him to another composer friend as a possible team member for one of his projects. One year later, I’m glad he accepted to collaborate together, starting with this crazy piece. I wrote the music (melody and chords), we did the structure together but all that magic madness of orchestration is him. What a master!
